Photographer and film maker Tim Wong established his career in the movies and advertising industry in London. Upon returning to Hong Kong, having worked for renowned directors Wong Kar-Wai, Fruit Chan, and Ann Hui for years, his constant strive to challenge the conventional notion of boundaries in different genres of work resulted in the launch of Sykes Picture House in 2007.

The obsessive detailing, thoughtful manipulation of lighting, bold composition, together with the artistic and cinematic background of the artist has quickly won the trust of many well established individuals, agencies and brands, from Nike (Hong Kong), Shanghai Tang, Swire Properties, Joyce Boutique, Joyce Beauty, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited - Towngas, J.P. Morgan, IWC (HK), IWC Schaffhausen - Watch International, Italian Motors (HK), Baccarat Magazine, GQ China (Conde Nast Group) etc.

Tim’s signature approach in utilizing cinematic elements in his projects has helped him create mesmerizing works, whether they be stills or moving images. Spanning from fashion, fine art, advertising, to portraiture, Tim aspires to be one of the most innovative young new forces to contribute to the creative field.

He is currently based in Hong Kong.
